Richard’s Thoughts…
Kyle’s lesson comes from a conference I spoke at last fall, “Leadership On and Off the Field,” in Topeka, Kansas. It was a great group of student athletes who are leaders not only on the field of play, but in their schools and communities. The NCAA always runs advertisements that say there are over 400,000 college athletes and most of them will go pro in something other than sports.

That’s why is it so important for you as an individual to work hard every day on the things you are passionate about. That’s what you are a pro in. I’m not sure what Kyle’s future holds and I’m not sure what your future holds… or mine for that matter. What I do know is that if you work hard and you stay committed to growing as a person, good things are bound to happen.

Are you working as hard as you can on the things you’re passionate about? I know you can get busy… but this next week is the time to take action and re-focus your energy! Make it happen.
