The Magic of Half-Baked Ideas

I have been a fan of Twitter (probably longer than many of my friends in the industry even knew what Twitter was). The stumble-ability has always been my favorite aspect of this platform. I recently stumbled on a tweet while watching the Great British Baking Show and it got me thinking …

A half-baked idea is a good thing.

A half-baked cake … not so much. (Unless you’re me and love to eat batter of all kinds.) The judges were not impressed. But Aaron’s Tweet is the exception to half-baked goods. In the creative space of marketing, half-baked ideas is the magic space. It is where we can all come together with our own experiences, ideas, and dreams, and put them into something that isn’t quite finished and make something amazing together.

Half-baked cakes = bad.

Half-baked ideas = amazing.
