How Content Strategy is Changing

Content is not going away but what consumers want from the content is changing.

Series Content is Coming to Social

In the recent Sprout Social Q2 2025 Pulse Survey, a lot of learnings came out from what consumers are hoping for in the content they consume. One that stuck out to me was the desire for “original content series.” More than half, 57% said this was something they wanted more from brands and it makes sense how we are seeing more and more short-run series find long-term success. (See the final story for an example of this.)

Tom Daley & Dustin Lance Black Discuss Finances with Starling Bank

Starling Bank recently launched a financial “therapy” series staring Olympic Goal Medalist Tom Daley and his husband Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black where they discuss their different approaches to money. It is an honest, raw, and real look at how couples view money and spending; and surprising in their openness to discuss a topic many couples struggle to navigate.

» Noteworthy: He likes to spend, I like to save.
